Volkswagen is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the launch of the first-generation Touareg crossover. In honor of this event, the company released a special version of the current generation Tuareg - it has the prefix Edition 20 in the name and differs from the standard car in a number of style features.
Outside, the “festive” crossover is distinguished by body coloring with an exclusive dark blue metallic Meloe Blue, 20-inch alloy wheels of the original design (Bogota model), deep tinted windows, special nameplates on the racks. In addition, the Edition 20 has high-gloss black fender flares and a rear diffuser.
Interior features include door sills with cut-out Edition 20 lettering and backlight, Savona light beige leather seats with diamond-shaped stitching, and a special equipment logo on the gear knob. The anniversary version comes standard with a 15-inch media system.
In the European Union, special equipment for the VW Touareg will be offered for cars with a V6 turbodiesel (power - 231 or 286 hp), a V6 petrol turbo engine (340 hp) and a plug-in hybrid (375 hp) option.
Sales will start in mid-June, in Germany the price of the Touareg Edition 20 will start at 77,530 euros.
