Volkswagen

Volkswagen at the international auto show that opened in Chicago (USA) presented an updated version of the Atlas (full-size) and Atlas Cross (shortened) crossovers.

In the history of the model produced since 2017, this is already the second major modernization, the previous one was in 2020.

Both Atlas and Atlas Cross received a redesigned front end. Steel stamped elements were not affected, but a new bumper group and other block headlights were used. The radiator grille has been enlarged and is now black. The headlights have acquired a C-shaped configuration, an LED horizontal stretched between them, lighting up along with daytime running lights.

The rear part was also refreshed - both models had the tailgate replaced. From now on, the lanterns are visually united by a solid horizontal line, which combines the segments located on the door and a massive reflector. The rear spoiler has been enlarged.

We also offer wheel disks of a new design, landing diameter from 18 to 20 inches. The range still includes the R-Line styling package, which includes sporty touches on the exterior - glossy black accents and R21 wheels.

In general, restyling made the appearance of Atlas and Atlas Cross more charismatic and memorable.

The interior materials have been improved - parts of the front panel and door cards are now covered with high-quality leatherette. The screen of the media system has been enlarged, its diagonal is 12 inches instead of the previous 10.3. Standard equipment includes wireless smartphone charging, six USB-C and two USB-A connectors.

The “base” includes the IQ.Drive complex - it includes lane control, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.

The 3.6-liter naturally aspirated engine was excluded from the range of engines, only a 2.0-liter turbo remained, its power was increased to 273 hp, torque - up to 370 Nm. In the transmission - 8-speed "automatic", drive - front or full, at the choice of the customer.
