The German off-road tuning company Delta4x4 has offered its own version of an expedition vehicle based on the second-generation Volkswagen Amarok frame pickup truck.
The Delta4x4 expeditionary recipe is generally standard - a chassis raised 150 mm above the ground, specialized elastic and damping elements in the suspension instead of standard ones, 35-inch wheels on A / T or M / T tires, enlarged cutouts on the wings with wide lining - expanders made of mechanically resistant polymer, auxiliary lighting equipment mounted on the roof and power protection of the front part, as well as an electromechanical winch.
The second-generation Volkswagen Amarok is built on the basis of the Ford Ranger P703 and is produced on the same assembly line at the Ford plant in South Africa.
