Tesla figured out how to force negligent drivers to buckle up

Tesla

Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has patented a system to prevent seatbelt trips. It's called Improper Seatbelt Usage Detection and works by sensors built into belts and seats.

The development does not allow deception of on-board electronics - it recognizes a belt passed behind the back or the use of a plug in the lock. If a “trick” is detected, the possibility of movement is blocked, and warning messages are displayed on the screen of the media system and on the owner’s smartphone.

Obviously, with this system, Tesla wants to protect itself and its customers from accidents related to the incorrect operation of the branded “autopilot” of the second level. Many drivers trust him too much and completely lose control over the traffic situation, after which those taken by surprise get into serious accidents.
