Tesla has announced the second major recall this week - it concerns 817 thousand electric vehicles, the reason is the massive failure of the seat belt warning device.
According to the US National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA), the 2021-2022 Model S and Model X, 2017-2022 Model 3 and 2020-2022 Model Y were included in the service campaign. So far, they are only talking about those cars that were sold in the USA.
The management has determined that due to a software bug, the horn may not sound when the car is running. The company will fix the program responsible for this function.
