Subaru has unveiled an updated Crosstrek hatchback for the US market.
You can visually distinguish the restyled Crosstrek by the front bumper with modified foglight sections and grille. Plus, a Sport version appeared with different bumpers and larger black plastic overlays on the arches.
The Subaru Crosstrek has a 2.5-liter boxer engine that produces 185 hp. and 239 Nm. This internal combustion engine is combined only with a variator. The new version claims an average consumption of 8.1 l / 100 km in the combined cycle according to the EPA test.
The pseudo-crossover will still be available with a 154-horsepower 2.0-liter engine. In this case, the buyer will have the right to choose between a 6-speed "mechanics" and a variator.
Due to the EyeSight system, it was possible to increase the level of safety: now the automation has received the function of adaptive cruise control with vehicle alignment in the center of the lane. EyeSight is only available for CVT vehicles.
An updated version of the Subaru Crosstrek will appear in the US in the summer.
