Another Japanese automaker is experiencing an acute shortage of electronic components: Subaru announced that it will unscheduledly stop the work of three of its car factories in Gunma Prefecture in eastern Japan, they will not produce products from June 2 to 3 inclusive.
The shortage is partly due to the spread of the new coronavirus in China and the resulting logistical problems, according to Kyodo.
