Subaru will start accepting orders for the new (sixth) generation Impreza hatchback on March 2, however, this date only applies to the domestic Japanese market so far (it will be the first to receive the novelty).
Recall that the new Impreza was introduced in November last year. The overall length of the hatchback is 4475 mm, the wheelbase is 2670 mm, the supporting structure is additionally reinforced relative to its predecessor by 10%.
In the basic configuration, the car has a 2.0-liter petrol boxer engine with 152 hp. The RS variant will rise a step higher - with a 2.5-liter boxer with a return of 182 hp. Both units are combined with a variator with a wired manual mode (imitation of eight gears). The drive is permanent full, there is a function of thrust vector control with the help of brakes. There will be no MCP in the new generation.
Inside, there is a seven-inch digital instrument panel and a media system screen of the same size. For an extra charge, an 11.6-inch multimedia display will be offered.
The basic equipment of the novelty includes the EyeSight semi-autopilot, which recognizes difficult obstacles (pedestrians and cyclists) even when turning right at intersections, including at dusk.
