The German sports car manufacturer Porsche has introduced a new model to the 911 Carrera line, the 911 Carrera T.
The Porsche 911 Carrera T features a PASM sports suspension that reduces ground clearance by 10mm, a limited slip differential, and the Sport Chrono system that puts the suspension, engine and transmission into more intensive operating modes.
In addition, the curb weight of the Porsche 911 Carrera T is reduced by 45 kg due to the removal of part of the noise insulation, glass of reduced thickness, a small-sized battery and missing second-row passenger seats.
The standard version of the 911 Carrera T is with a manual transmission. At the request of the customer, the machine is equipped with an automated PDK transmission at no additional charge.
The engine on the 911 Carrera T is exactly the same as on the standard 911 Carrera, a 3.0-liter flat-six with 379 hp. and 480 Nm. On the outside, the 911 Carrera T features gray mirror caps, â911 Carrera Tâ decals on the lower edge of the doors, nameplates on the door sills, a GT Sport steering wheel and sports bucket seats.
In terms of initial cost, the Porsche 911 Carrera T is oriented exactly between the 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera S.
