Porsche has unveiled an updated version of the Macan compact crossover. The car has slightly changed in appearance, received new equipment and equipment, as well as an increase in horsepower.
Macan has been in production since 2014. The SUV has already experienced one restyling - in 2018. This time, the designers sent him new bumpers: air intakes increased in front and an ins ert appeared in body color, a larger diffuser was used at the back. Lighting equipment was also lightly modernized and seven new variants of rims measuring from 19 to 21 inches were invented.
There are changes in the cabin. The analog clock was included in the “base”, the switches on the center console were made touch-sensitive, the lever of the “machine” was shortened and a GT Sport steering wheel from a Porsche 911 was installed.
The most affordable Porsche Macan with an upgraded 2.0-liter turbo four now develops 265 hp. instead of 252. Such a car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.2 seconds (-0.3 seconds compared to its predecessor), the maximum speed is 232 km / h (plus 5 km / h).
The Macan S uses a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that develops 26 hp. more (380 hp) than before. Sprint 0-100 km / h such a machine performs in 4.6 seconds (-0.5 seconds), “maximum speed” - 259 km / h (+4 km / h).
The Macan GTS also got the 2.9 V6, but in the version from the pre-reform Macan Turbo with 440 hp. (+40 hp relative to the previous GTS). Taking in to account the order of the Sport Chrono package to the first “hundred”, such a car fires in 4.3 seconds (-0.4) and is capable of reaching a speed of 272 km/h (+11 km/h).
All Macans are equipped with a PDK robotic transmission and Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive.
