German Porsche has shown three new modifications of its production models - the Taycan GTS, Taycan GTS Sport Turismo and 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.
The Taycan GTS (Gran Turismo Sport) is another variant of Porsche's first electric car, which will occupy a niche between 4S and Turbo in a number of all-wheel drive versions. The GTS electric motors (it also has a 4x4 transmission) develop a total power of 433 kW (590 hp), they are powered by a battery with a capacity of 93.4 kWh. From standstill to 100 km / h, the car accelerates in 3.7 seconds, the maximum speed is limited to 250 km / h. The range on a single battery charge for this version is 504 km, the longest in the Taycan family. The GTS also features Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) adaptive air suspension settings. The novelty can be ordered as a sedan or station wagon. The second was given the name Sport Turismo, it differs from the Cross Turismo cross-station wagon produced since spring by a lowered suspension (clearance - 128 mm instead of 148 mm), the absence of wheel arch extensions and a rear spoiler painted in body color, not black lacquer. Also for the Taycan (regardless of the body) they began to offer a new option - a panoramic roof with adjustable transparency Sunshine Control, it has built-in liquid crystal segments with four presets - they can be transparent like glass, matte, translucent (40% dimming) or semi-transparent ( 60%).
The third new modification from Porsche is the second-generation 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport mid-engined sports car. This car is tailored for use on the race track and is based on the production version of the GT4 RS. In the Clubsport, the 4.0-litre petrol boxer is similar to that of the 911 GT3 Cup and develops 500 hp. (+75 hp relative to the GT4 RS). The motor is combined with a 7-speed PDK preselective "robot" (instead of the 6-speed for the GT4 RS). The car is homologated from the factory for use in SRO racing. With the curb weight of the sports car, thanks to the wings, body kit and carbon fiber hood, 23 kg were thrown off, that is, it is 1464 kg. The chassis of the Clubsport is purely sporty: two-way shock absorbers and bayonet-type adjustable anti-roll bars are installed. Vehicle height, camber and toe can also be individually adjusted. Additionally, it is possible to set three different degrees of spring stiffness on the front and rear axles. Special NACA openings in the front cover provide effective ventilation for racing brakes with their impressive 380mm steel discs. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) is a racing-specific version with a switch for traction control, stability control and ABS.
The GT4 RS Clubsport has already been tested at the Nürburgring in 7 minutes 45 seconds, which is very fast.
