Peugeot virtual concept car: 875 hp power and 875 kg weight

In the long list of virtual concept cars developed by major companies for the Gran Turismo series of car simulators, an addition has appeared - this time the French brand Peugeot has presented its own project.

As is the case with other similar developments, the car was created primarily to demonstrate the capabilities of the brand's designers. Owners of a copy of Gran Turismo 6 for the Playstation 3 console will be able to test the car on a virtual track in the near future - the concept car will be available for free download.

As conceived by the creators of the car, it is able to boast a power-to-weight ratio of 1:1 - 875 kg and 875 hp. The mid-engined car is equipped with a 3.2-liter V6 engine with two turbochargers, which works together with an all-wheel drive system and a six-speed “mechanics”. The coupe accelerates to “hundreds” in 1.73 seconds.

Peugeot representatives claim that the conceptual coupe did not require any aerodynamic elements - the car supposedly "sticks" to the road surface due to the special shape of the body, whose height is 1040 mm.

The company clarified that the concept is equipped with 22-inch wheels at the front and 23-inch wheels at the rear. Brembo brakes with carbon discs (380 mm in front and 337 in the rear) are responsible for the timely stop of the virtual machine.
