Peugeot spoke about the modernization of the 308 hatchback. There are few photos of the car after restyling, but there is some technical information.
Now the 308 has a new grille, where the lion logo was moved from the hood, as well as a modified bumper and fog lights. Whether something has changed at the back remains to be seen, since the manufacturer did not publish the corresponding image, as well as photos of the interior.
There are more technical data. The Peugeot 308 will receive a new 1.5-liter 130-horsepower BlueHDi 130 diesel engine equipped with a dual emission control system, selective catalytic reduction - the manufacturer is preparing for new Euro-6c standards, which will come into force only at the end of 2018.
Another innovation is an 8-speed "automatic", which can be ordered together with a 180-horsepower 2.0-liter diesel engine in the performance of the 308 GT. In addition, the car will be offered with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 130 hp, for which a new 6-speed “mechanics” is provided.
The list of electronics available for the Peugeot 308 includes active emergency braking systems (Active Safety Brake) and lane departure warnings (Active Lane Departure Warning). For convenient parking, the Visiopark 1 vision system with an angle of 180 degrees and the Park Assist active maneuvering assistant are provided.
