Station wagon Opel Insignia CrossTour is preparing for an update

Opel

The test station wagon Opel Insignia CrossTour with camouflage elements caught the lens of German journalists. The car is expected to debut at the autumn motor show in Frankfurt along with the base sedan.

The main changes are hidden under protective overlays, but their small number suggests that there will not be many of them. Of the obvious changes - the expanded lower air intake, which has disappeared the middle section with a tide under the grille. Changes in the headlights are also obvious.

Little can be said about the shape of the radiator grill itself, hidden on the sides under camouflage - it can equally well be wider, or it can remain exactly the same as on previous models.

At the rear, changes to the lighting fixtures are evident, with observers expecting the decorative chrome panel between the taillights to be tweaked.

There is information about changes under the hood of the top Insignia OPC models - a more powerful engine (400 hp) is expected here instead of a 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 with 325 hp.

All other powertrains will be inherited by the updated successors. Recall that the Insignia is equipped with 1.4-2 liter petrol and diesel engines in the power range of 140-220 hp.
