Opel will bring an updated version of the Mokka crossover to the Geneva Motor Show. After the modernization, the car received the designation Mokka X.

The car differs from its predecessor in the new design of the front end with a wide horizontal grille. As conceived by Opel designers, changes in the appearance of the Mokka should give the crossover a more "wide and masculine stance."

The shape of the taillights has also been improved, they also received optional LED elements. In profile, the SUV remained the same.

The car was equipped with several technological solutions from Astra new generation. In particular, a new central panel with a cluster of instruments and a seven- or eight-inch display of the multimedia system. There are fewer buttons - most of the functions are available due to the touch screen function.

In addition to the already well-known 136-horsepower 1.6-liter diesel engine, Mokka was equipped with a new 1.4-liter 152-horsepower gasoline turbo engine from Astra. This motor can be ordered with a six-speed automatic, start-stop system and adaptive all-wheel drive, which can send 100% of torque to the front wheels or distribute traction along the axles in a 50/50 ratio.

The list of options includes adaptive LED headlights, as well as various security systems, for example, devices for determining the distance between the vehicle in front, a traffic sign reader and a lane keeping monitor.
