Mugen, the motorsport division of Honda Motor, has begun offering aerodynamic kits for the Honda ZR-V compact crossover in the Japanese domestic market.
The list of tuning parts includes front, side and rear spoilers with ribs in the form of fins. The top rear spoiler is said to be functional, helping to increase downforce at high speeds.
Other offerings from Mugen include original R19 wheels (the standard crossover has a maximum of R18), a set of branded floor mats, auto-dimming and water-repellent side mirror covers.
Prices range from 2,530 to 264,000 yen depending on the specific part.
Honda ZR-V specifications for the Japanese market were introduced in mid-July 2022. This crossover is built on a single platform with the 11th generation Civic and has an overall length of just under 4.6 m.
The Japanese ZR-V is available in two engine versions: with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo unit and with an e: HEV power plant - a parallel hybrid. The e:HEV combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with two electric motors. 1.5-liter - with a stepless variator. Both versions offer all-wheel drive.
