At the opening of the China International Import Exhibition (CIIE-2022), Honda Motor introduced the e:N2 electric car, a harbinger of a future production car that will compete with the Toyota bZ3 Sedan and Tesla Model 3.
The e:N2 is a mid-size car with an avant-garde sci-fi inspired exterior. The car is distinguished by an unusual profile with pointed upper edges of the front and rear fenders, as well as narrowed LED headlights and lanterns. To improve streamlining, the electric car is equipped with retractable door handles and rear-view cameras instead of traditional mirrors.
The Japanese company has not published any technical information about e:N2. It is known that a serial electric car with a design that largely repeats the concept car will be released in a couple of years, China will become the target market for it, so the production of the car will be deployed in this country.
Recall that the e:N sub-brand was launched in 2021 - under it, Honda will produce a wide range of electric vehicles. The first two models of the subsidiary brand are already in production - these are the e:NS1 and e:NP1 crossovers based on the Honda Vezel.
