The presentation of the second generation of the Honda Vezel crossover for the Japanese market took place in February, and sales started today. Now Honda Motor has shown a left-hand drive version for Europe, which traditionally received the name HR-V.
The HR-V does not differ from the Vezel in appearance, technically the twins are also identical, although only a hybrid version will be sold in Europe (Vezel also has a petrol version). It combines a 106-horsepower 1.5-liter internal combustion engine with an electric motor that produces 131 hp. and 253 Nm. The drive is complete.
And for the HR-V / Vezel, the Japanese company Mugen has released tuning elements. They include a front splitter, side skirts, a rear diffuser, front grille and side mirror covers, a choice of spoilers, a more powerful twin tailpipe exhaust system and branded 18-inch wheels.
A complete set of improvements is estimated at 230,000 yen in unpainted form and 260,000 yen - already in body color.
Prices for the new generation Vezel in Japan start at 2,279,200 yen for a regular crossover and 2,658,700 yen for a hybrid.
