Known for its high-speed road sports cars, Texas-based Hennessey has unveiled a new product, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500, a powerful pickup truck based on the earlier Ford Ranger Raptor.
The standard Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 features an enlarged turbocharger intercooler and a new engine control unit firmware. As a result, the maximum power of the 3.0-liter gasoline Ford EcoBoost V6 has increased by 95 hp, to 500 hp, and peak torque by 162 Nm, to 745 Nm. Also, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 received branded power bumpers with extended towing loops and class A / T off-road tires with an outer diameter of 35 inches.
