Ford Motor introduced the Tourneo Courier passenger van, it is based on the new generation of the Transit Courier light van (it was shown in early April).
Outside, a passenger van differs from a cargo van in a glazed body, roof rails and the ability to order a contrasting color on the top.
The Tourneo Courier has a five-seat interior, the rear seat folds in a 60/40 ratio. It is claimed that the trunk volume is 44% more than that of the outgoing generation model, i.e. 570 liters instead of 395 liters.
Sliding rear doors are on both sides. Access to the luggage compartment opens a one-piece lifting door.
The Tourneo Courier will be offered a 1.0-liter petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 125 hp. or a purely electric power plant with a return of 100 kW (136 hp). The power reserve of the electric car is not specified, but it is specified that its battery can be recharged at a fast station with a capacity of up to 100 kW, with its help the energy reserve sufficient for a run of 87 km is replenished in just 10 minutes.
