Ford Motor has added a new five-meter crossover Edge L to its range.
The overall length, width, height of the novelty are 5000, 1961 and 1773 mm, respectively, the wheelbase is 2950 mm. The layout of the cabin is three-row, seven-seater, and according to an unconventional scheme 2 + 2 + 3 (there are two individual luxury seats on the second row).
Edge L will be offered with a 2.0-liter petrol engine producing 249 hp. and a torque of 378 Nm. They will also offer a hybrid system with a 2.0 engine and an electric motor, 271 hp. and 405 Nm. In both cases, an 8-speed "automatic" and all-wheel drive are used. The full range of the hybrid (full tank + fully charged battery) is 1188 km.
Inside, there is a clustered 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster + 27-inch media system display.
The novelty will be produced in China, the target market for it is this particular country. The start of sales of the gasoline version is scheduled for the second half of April, the hybrid - for July.
