Volvo

Volvo held the official online premiere of the V90 station wagon. The “live” car will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1.

The car was built using the SPA modular architecture and is structurally close to the S90 sedan and XC90 crossover - the SUV was the first model on this platform.

The car will be available with one of the five proposed power plants, known from the S90 and XC90 - two diesels, two gasoline engines and one hybrid. Note that in all cases the complex is based on a two-liter supercharged internal combustion engine.

Gasoline configurations are as follows: T5 (254 hp), T6 (320 hp). The list of diesels includes models D4 (190 hp) and D5 (235 hp), and the only hybrid with the T8 index will offer buyers all-wheel drive and 410 hp. power.

The station wagon received an extensive list of state-of-the-art security systems characteristic of Volvo, which included a device for tracking animals on the road, a complex for preventing the exit from the highway, sensors for following markings and monitoring blind spots, a parking assistant, a 360-degree camera and much more.

In addition, the Pilot Assist System complex was included in the equipment of the car, which is capable of taking control of the car at speeds up to 130 km / h. At the same time, the driver must not be distracted from the road and monitor what is happening.
