Volvo Cars has unveiled its latest electric crossover, the midsize five-seater EX60.

The versatile body of the Volvo EX60 is characterized by streamlined shapes, and the vertical taillights, which visually elongate the profile, look interesting; they actually protrude relative to the fenders and the tailgate glass. The drag coefficient (Cd) is only 0.26, one of the lowest figures among production wagons. Improved aerodynamics is one way to increase a vehicle's energy efficiency, which for electric vehicles helps extend the interval between charging stations.

Inside the new Volvo, there is a horizontal front panel, a digital instrument cluster, and a huge tablet-style display for the media system. Instead of a traditional console descending to the tunnel, there is an additional storage compartment which, when viewed, inevitably brings associations with a garbage chute hatch. The steering wheel rim is flattened at the top and bottom. Premium-class Bowers & Wilkins audio system with 28 speakers is promised for high-end trims.

The Volvo EX60 monitors the driver and passengers with artificial intelligence. The dimensions of the crossover are 4803 mm in length, 1899 mm in width, and 1635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2970 mm. This is comparable to the Toyota Harrier or the Geely Monjaro.

The electric vehicle has many sensors and detectors to monitor the road.

The Volvo EX60 will be available in rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions. These versions have different power outputs and battery capacities (90 kWh, 91 kWh, and 112 kWh).

The maximum range on a single charge is 644 km
