Volvo introduced the sports wagon V60

Volvo

Swedish automaker Volvo has announced the expansion of its model lineup with a sporty modification of the V60 station wagon, prepared by partners of the Swedes and the creators of cars for the national touring car championship, Polestar.

Like the S60 Polestar sedan introduced in April, the wagon also received a 3.0-liter turbo six from the T6 version, which, after modifications, produces 350 hp. Paired with a 6-speed automatic, this motor provides the wagon with a top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited) and acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds (17.7 seconds in acceleration to 200 km/h). ).

In addition to the powerful engine, the Polestar station wagons will also get a modified suspension with stiffer springs and shock absorbers, 20-inch wheels with low-profile tires, a high-performance exhaust system, heavy-duty Brembo brakes and changes to the settings of the electronic stabilization system.

New versions can also be distinguished by the aero body kit, sports seats and steering wheel in the cabin. The cars are painted in Polestar's signature colors.

The Volvo V60 Polestar sports wagon will go on sale in June 2014 in Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the US.
