Volvo Cars has adapted the new generation XC60 crossover to view a solar eclipse.
The automaker has developed a special overlay for the panoramic roof, with the help of magnets it is attached to the body and allows you to look at the eclipse without harming your eyesight. With the help of the XC60 Panoramic Moonroof Eclipse Viewer (as the overlay is called), five people will be able to observe a rare natural phenomenon fr om one car at once.
The new option was offered by dealers of the Swedish brand in the US states of Oregon, Idaho, Nebraska, Missouri and South Carolina, wh ere the total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017 will be best seen.
In addition, Volvo Cars promises to organize a live video broadcast of the solar eclipse in 360-degree format and 4K resolution on its official website.
