David Gustafsson from Sweden is building an unusual car: he makes a full-scale copy of his Volvo V70 from Lego. This was announced on August 6 by the SVT TV channel.

David has been into Lego since childhood. When he was ten years old (now the young man is 21 years old), he dreamed of making someday a big car from the details of this designer.

In 2020, the Swede, along with a friend, won the main prize in the Lego Masters television program - more than 370,000 pieces with a total weight of 1.2 tons.

“I thought that now that I have the chance in the form of so many Legos, I can do what I have dreamed of since the age of 10: build my own car in full scale,” David said.

The design is based on a home-made frame made of a square-section professional pipe. Also, the car has real wheels and a steering rack with a cardan. Everything else is made from Lego pieces.

While the project is far from complete, the Volvo V70 is already recognizable in this product. David expects to complete the Lego mobile in a year. After that, he is going to rent his car to various enthusiasts and companies. He expects to organize a tour of Sweden or even Europe.
