Japanese tuning studio DAMD will present a redesigned version of the Suzuki Hustler kei crossover at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show 2023.
The car will be equipped with a new DAMD Hustler Country styling kit, which includes the original front bumper, grille, hood trim, headlight and taillight bezels. With this kit, Hustler's curvaceous headlights and oversized grille are combined into a single piece - a styling component that nods to the classic Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 SUV. The image of the same historical car should be associated with a horizontal element imitating a channel in the bumper and a false air intake in the hood.
DAMD also offers a touring roof rack for the Suzuki Hustler - it is welded from steel bars, but its front side is made of a wooden board. This enhances the retro image of the tuning car.
The interior of the key car has been redesigned by DAMD with new seat upholstery with a nostalgic check pattern.
The Tokyo Motor Show will be held January 13-15, it is held annually, it is the world's largest exhibition of tuning and custom cars. The event should not be confused with the international Tokyo Motor Show, which is traditionally held in October-November with an interval of two years.
