In 2002, smart-BRABUS GmbH was formed to develop special versions of city cars. Already at the beginning of 2003, two premium compacts appeared on the European market - the smart fortwo BRABUS coupe and roadster. In honor of the 10th anniversary of successful cooperation, a special model "10th anniversary" was released.
The anniversary car will be produced in a run of 100 copies. The car is based on the current version of the smart fortwo BRABUS, the engine of which develops 102 hp. and a torque of 147 Nm. The maximum speed of the compact is 155 km/h, and it takes only 8.9 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h.
The Brabus Smart 10th Anniversary received a special liquid silver body color, plastic aerodynamic elements adorn the front and sides of the body. Special titanium paint headlights and red Brabus logos complete the exterior. Inside - black leather and hand stitching, black and red.
Over the past 10 years, more than 50,000 smart-BRABUS have been sold, with more than 10,000 sold just last year.
