At the international automobile exhibitions in Detroit and Geneva, two Smart car concepts will be presented. The company’s own development, the smart for-us pickup truck, will be shown in the United States, and Dock + Go, a trailer from Rinspeed, will debut in Switzerland.
The dimensions of the smart for-us pickup truck (length/width/height - 3547/1506/1701 mm) make it easy to place it in the body of a classic pickup truck. The car itself is equipped with a 55-kW electric motor, so it is "absolutely environmentally friendly."
The trailer from Rinspeed is also designed for the electric version of the "smart". Dock+Go will significantly increase the luggage space of the car, allowing it to be used, for example, for delivering pizza or transporting tools.
