The new Skoda Fabia has a version with a sporty design

Skoda

A new top version has appeared in the range of the fourth generation Skoda Fabia - it is called Monte Carlo (in honor of the Monte Carlo Rally) and has a number of “sporty” style features.

On the exterior, these include aerodynamic “aprons” along the bottom of the front bumper and sills, an imitation diffuser in the rear bumper, and original-design rims ranging in size from 16 to 18 inches. Also, the pseudo-sport Fabia has a black-painted radiator grille, mirror housings and a nameplate on the tailgate. For a surcharge, it is proposed to lower the suspension by 15 mm. Badges with the name of the version are pasted on the front fenders.

In the cabin, among the differences are sports front seats with developed lateral support, a three-spoke steering wheel with a leather-wrapped rim, stainless steel pedals and bright red decorative accents (on the seats, in the front panel trim and on the doors).

The Monte Carlo version is not compatible with the low-power variants of the new Fabia, i.e. it is only available for configurations with a 108 hp 1.0-liter petrol turbo engine. and for the 1.5-liter version with a return of 148 hp. Gearbox - 7-speed preselective "robot", front-wheel drive.

Sales of Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo in the European Union will start in the spring.
