Skoda Octavia, the most popular car of the Czech brand, in the next generation, which will be released in 2025-2026, along with the usual version with internal combustion engines, will be offered in an electric version, Autocar reports.
The electric Skoda Octavia will be built on the promising Volkswagen SSP platform, which will raise the performance and efficiency to a new level compared to the current Volkswagen MEB electric vehicle platform.
Utility versions of the electric Octavia will have front-wheel drive, while the sporty Octavia RS will get four electric motors (one per wheel) and all-wheel drive.
