Nissan Motor summed up the first results of sales of Note Aura, which started on August 17th. This model is currently only available in the domestic Japanese market. As of September 8, the company sold 10,151 units. The result significantly exceeded Nissan's expectations.

Recall that Note Aura differs from the usual Note not only in body kit and trim levels. The Note Aura has a redesigned body with virtually all of its exterior panels new. The length, width and height of the car are 4045, 1735 and 1525 mm, respectively, that is, while maintaining the length of the standard version of the Aura, it is wider and higher by 40 and 20 mm.

The interior uses tweed door cards, decorative inserts with a wood grain texture, improved sound insulation and side windows made using multi-layer technology. The Note Aura comes with a premium Bose audio system.

The hatch is sold only in a hybrid version. 1.2-liter HR12DE gasoline engine with 82 hp and a torque of 103 Nm recharges the lithium-ion battery that feeds the EM47 traction motor, which produces 136 hp. and 300 Nm. In addition to the standard front-wheel drive version, a 4x4 variant is also available, with an additional 50 kW (68 hp) electric motor on the rear axle.

It is noteworthy that the majority of buyers (70%) choose the expensive G leather edition with leather upholstery. NissanConnect and ProPilot systems are chosen by 80% of customers. 30% of cars were sold with all-wheel drive.

The Nissan Note Aura in Japan costs between 2,613,300 yen and 2,957,900 yen.
