On September 15, the updated Nissan Dayz and Roox kei cars went on sale in Japan.
The changes are minor. So, the cars received a new seat upholstery material - with antibacterial impregnation, this is relevant on the eve of the next predicted outbreak of coronavirus. In addition, a new rear sofa cushion has been introduced exclusively for Dayz - with a greater thickness (increases ride comfort).
A special Fine Tone package has been added to the Dayz range - it includes water-repellent seat upholstery and all-round cameras.
Roox Highway Star X Pro Pilot Edition received 15-inch alloy wheels with a new design.
Body color combinations "Pearl White Body + Ash Brown Top" and "Soda Blue Body + Ash Brown Top" have been added to the model palette.
Dayz costs from 1,332,100 yen, Roox - from 1,463,000 yen.
Dayz and Roox are platform kei cars that differ from each other in bodywork (Roox has sliding rear doors and a roomier interior). Cars are offered with a 660 cc gasoline engine with 52 hp. or with a 64bhp hybrid setup built around a 660cc internal combustion engine. In all cases, the internal combustion engine is aggregated with a variator, the drive is either front or full.
