The Nissan Ariya electric crossover is being used for a round-the-world expedition that starts at the North Pole and ends at the South. Chris Ramsey, a British traveler, will lead the round-the-world trip, and he will also drive one of the electric vehicles. The expedition will involve two Nissan Ariya in the all-wheel drive version of the e-4ORCE. One of them will have special all-terrain wheels for extreme off-road use. The second is a regular serial copy, which is used as a support vehicle.

The expedition will begin in March 2023, the crossovers will have to overcome more than 27 thousand km from the Arctic to the Antarctic in a variety of natural and climatic conditions, they will be tested in a temperature range from minus 30 to plus 30 degrees Celsius.

Recall that the Nissan Ariya has been produced since 2021, in Japan the car is offered in front- and all-wheel drive versions. There are either one or two electric motors, respectively. The standard version of the Airya 2WD B6 is equipped with a 160 kW (218 hp) motor and 300 Nm of torque. The maximum speed of all-wheel drive Ariya is 200 km/h.
