Brabus made a buggy on the units of the most powerful Gelendvagen

The German tuning studio Brabus GmbH has presented a new development - the crazy Brabus 900 Crawler buggy, made on Mercedes-AMG 63 units.

Despite the outward resemblance to the Gelendvagen, in terms of the body part, the Crawler has nothing in common with it, except for the headlights and taillights. The novelty from Brabus has a frame welded tubular structure and panels molded from carbon fiber. The carrier frame of the machine is also original. There are no doors or windows at all.

The Brabus 900 Crawler is powered by Mercedes-AMG's 4.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol. It has undergone additional refinement, develops 888 hp. power and 1250 Nm of torque (although traction is limited at 1050 Nm). The engine is combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive, there are locks on all three differentials.

Inside the car there are four individual “bucket” sports seats and elements from the serial Gelendvagen (in particular, a digital instrument panel, a media system and pedals). The seats have a carbon fiber base (to lighten the weight) and are upholstered in an easy-to-clean material that is used in Brabus sports boats. Included with the Brabus 900 Crawler, buyers will receive four protective helmets with a two-way communication system.

Thanks to portal axles and huge Maxxis Razr wheels, the buggy has a ground clearance of 530 mm.

From 0 to 100 km / h, the car accelerates in 3.4 seconds, its maximum speed for the safety of passengers is limited to 160 km / h.

Brabus 900 Crawler will be assembled in a run of 15 copies, the price of each is $ 945,000. This exotic development has no access to public roads - it was created for fun rides on desert dunes.
