Toyota's Customizing & Development (TCD) division has released the F Sport Parts body kit for the next-generation Lexus RX mid-size SUV, which went on sale in Japan on November 18.
F Sport Parts includes five elements - front spoiler, rear wing, side skirts, diffuser, side mirror covers. In addition, the original muffler is available separately. It is alleged that the body kit is functional, that is, it was calculated on a computer and in a wind tunnel. Side skirts help to efficiently vent air in the lower body, improve handling and stability of the crossover at high speeds. The rear wing suppresses lift and improves stern stability.
Also featured in the TCD catalog are front and rear horizontal roll dampers that absorb lateral body roll when cornering and make the new RX even more comfortable to ride. The body kit offers original multi-spoke forged wheels with a bore diameter of 20 or 21 inches.
Items sold individually, prices range from 61,600 to 1,012,000 yen.
Recall that the new Lexus RX is built on the TNGA GA-K platform, in Japan it is offered in the RX350 (petrol), RX500h (hybrid), RX450h + (hybrid with the possibility of recharging from an external network).
