Since climate control in a convertible is somewhat more difficult than in a coupe, the Lexus LC500 Convertible is equipped with a special Lexus Climate Concierge system. She not only received a separate airflow for the neck, but also learned to automatically activate the seat and steering wheel heating so as not to overcool the passengers.
By the way, along with the convertible, an updated version of the coupe has also become available. During a recent update, engineers have reduced the unsprung weight by 10 kg at once. This was achieved through new stabilizers, aluminum components, stronger springs and lighter rear wheels.
In addition to this, the manufacturer has added two body colors (Cadmium Orange and Nori Green Pearl), and also introduced new 20-inch wheels in Dark Graphite.
The power plant is the same. Under the hood is a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 that produces 478 hp. and 539 Nm. It is aggregated with a 10-speed "automatic". Drive - rear. Dynamic characteristics have not yet been disclosed. The closed version is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. It should be borne in mind that convertibles are usually a little slower due to their greater mass.
A hybrid version of the LC500h with a 3.5-liter V6, which, paired with an electric motor, produces 359 hp, also remained in service.
The minimum price for a convertible is 15,000,000 yen. The coupe in the database is a little more affordable - from 14,500,000 yen.
