Great Wall Motor has begun selling a new model of the Haval brand, the Kugou compact crossover, in its native China.
The novelty is built on a modified version of the Haval Lemon platform, which is known to Russians for the Jolion compact crossover produced in the Tula region.
The body of Kugou is completely original - with its angular and rustic forms, it beats the motives of SUVs of the past.
The overall length, width and height of the novelty are 4520, 1875 and 1745 mm, respectively, the wheelbase is 2710 mm. Relative to Jolyon, the length is increased by 48 mm, width - by 34 mm, height - by 171 mm, an increase of 10 mm in the wheelbase. Kugou has a high ground clearance of 196 mm and excellent cross-country ability: the approach angle is 21 degrees, the exit angle is 25 degrees.
Under the hood is a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine with 184 hp, it is combined with a 7-speed robotic gearbox, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (customer's choice).
Prices for Haval Kugou in China range from 123,800 to 149,800 yuan.
