The Chinese company Foton is preparing to add an unusual model to its product line - an SUV stylized as an armored car.
The SUV is built on the basis of a Tunland serial frame pickup truck, but does not have a single external panel with it. The entire body of the SUV is completely original, it is made up of simple flat surfaces and volumes. The car looks like an armored car, but it is not. The interior of the car is designed for five. Interestingly, the headlights are shaped like those of the American Ford F-150.
In terms of engine, the car is identical to the serial Tunland - here is a 2.7-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 175 hp. The maximum speed of the car is 158 km/h.
Note that Foton is not the pioneer of the "false armored" car genre. Recall, for example, the Chinese Karlmann King or the Canadian Knight XV. But these are very expensive exclusive cars, while the new Foton clearly does not aim for the luxury class - too simple design, without attention to detail.
