Fiat has unveiled the new Tipo sedan in Dubai, with which the brand will return to the popular C-segment. Tipo is the name of one of Fiat's models from the 1980s.
In some parts of the world, the new Fiat will be sold under the Aegea name. So far, it is known about the manufacturer's plans to sell the car in the markets of 40 states.
The car is built on the same platform as the Jeep Renegade compact crossover. The dimensions of the car are comparable to the Ford Focus - 4.54 meters long, 1.78 meters wide and 1.48 meters high. The trunk capacity will be more than 500 liters.
Buyers of the car will be able to choose one of four engines - two petrol engines with a volume of 1.4 and 1.6 liters (95 and 110 hp) are available, as well as two diesel engines MultiJet II with a volume of 1.3 and 1.6 liters (95 and 120 hp). Engines can be equipped with both "mechanics" and "automatic".
The equipment list of the car will include a Uconnect multimedia system with a five-inch display, Bluetooth support, as well as the ability to connect gadgets from Apple, a navigator from TomTom and a rear-view camera.
