As part of the official presentation of the long-wheelbase Fiat 500L, a new model from the 500th line, a crossover, was shown to journalists for a few moments. Despite the fact that the demonstrated car is tightly tinted, which means it is most likely just a mockup, automotive publications have already come up with the name 500X for it and even picked up power plants.
Fiat intends to win over as many buyers as possible from the Mini brand. Already, the 500 lineup includes a three-door hatch, a convertible, a brand new five-door 500L and powerful Abarth versions. The ultra-compact crossover will become a direct competitor to the Mini Countryman.
Most likely, Fiat will tell more about the novelty at the Paris Motor Show in September this year.
