The Chinese have their own analogue of the Cadillac Escalade

FAW

The Chinese concern FAW has introduced a fundamentally new model under its super-luxury brand HongQi - a full-size frame SUV LS7. This car can be safely called an analogue of the American premium monsters Cadillac Escalade XL and Lincoln Navigator L.

The overall length, width, height of the HongQi LS7 are 5695, 2095 and 1985 mm respectively, the wheelbase is 3309 mm. Ground clearance reaches 246 mm.

The exterior of the SUV is made in the latest iteration of the HongQi corporate identity - we recall that since 2018, Giles Taylor, who previously served as design director at the British Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, has been the brand's chief designer. In the exterior, one should highlight the intricate plastic body panels, complex headlights and lanterns, a huge radiator grille with vertical slats, generous chrome decor and multi-spoke wheels.

The interior of the SUV is equipped according to the class of limousines - there are four seats with individual high-comfort seats, natural materials are used in the decoration - leather, fine wood, polished metal. Both rear passengers have their own media system screens, the seats have many adjustments, as well as leg support. Passengers in the rear row can be separated from the front of the passenger compartment by a partition at the touch of a button.

Under the hood of the HongQi LS7 is a 4.0-liter petrol turbo engine with 360 hp, it is combined with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The maximum speed of the giant is 200 km / h.

Recall that Hongqi occupies the highest level in the hierarchy of Chinese national auto brands. All the leaders of the Communist Party of China, starting with Mao Zedong, drive cars of this brand, they can be compared in status with English Rolls-Royce or Soviet ZILs. In recent years, FAW has been actively expanding the range of the brand.
