Italian tuning company Aznom Automotive has developed its first car called the Aznom Palladium. This is a very strange project, which the manufacturer calls hyperlimousine. It is based on the frame pickup Ram 1500.
The Palladium was endowed with a non-trivial look - in terms of the power structure of the body, doors, roof and some other elements, the car is unified with Ram, but at the same time it has original plumage and rear.
The pompous design of the front with a massive radiator grille resembles a Rolls-Royce, and the backlight is built into the vertical slats.
When viewed from the side, the car looks disproportionate, from this angle it becomes obvious that the pickup truck served as the source: the characteristic proportions could not be hidden even by the new rear.
By the way, Palladium cannot be attributed to any of the traditional body types: it is not a sedan, not a liftback and no longer a pickup truck. A small (relative to the overall dimensions of the vehicle) drawer is built into the stern. It is easier to draw a parallel with furniture than with something from the world of cars.
Small horizontal windows are built into the rear roof pillars. As conceived by the designers, they will allow passengers to look out, while maintaining privacy.
The origins of Palladium are clearly visible in the cabin. It seems that someone prepared the Ram 1500 for the private order of a Mexican drug lord: there is too colorful a combination of colors, textures and materials.
A touch screen appeared on the driver's door, which controls the interior lighting, on-board refrigerator and trunk, as well as opening and closing all drawers and compartments.
Also inside is a Harman Kardon audio system, two Microsoft Surface Pro X tablets, and a handcrafted gold and palladium watch. Aznom says they can be taken with you and used as an "elegant piece of home decor."
To match the bright image, the technical stuffing was also selected. "Hyperlimousine" length of 5960 mm weighs 2650 kg, so it needs a big heart for dynamic acceleration. As a result, a pair of turbochargers were installed on the standard 5.7-liter V8. With their help, the return is brought to 710 hp. and 950 Nm. An 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive remained in place.
The dynamic characteristics of this giant are impressive: it takes only 4.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h. Top speed is limited to 210 km/h. For more confident deceleration, 408 mm front brake discs and 380 mm rear brakes are used.
