The American company Dodge, which is part of the Stellantis concern, has released the fastest car in its history - the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 coupe.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 engine - a 6.2-liter V8 - is equipped with a high-performance drive air supercharger that raises the compression ratio to 0.59 kg / cm3, but only when using a fuel mixture of ethanol with gasoline in a ratio of at least 65/35, due to low knock the ability of ethanol. In this mode, the engine develops a maximum power of 1025 hp. When using pure gasoline, the power does not exceed 900 hp.
The Challenger SRT Demon 170 comes stock with drag-specific Mickey Thompson ET Street R semi-slick tires, 315/50R17 rear and 245/55R18 front.
