Chery Automobile is testing a new product - a large seven-seater T26 crossover, which will be located a step above the Tiggo 8 in the brand's model hierarchy.
On October 20, the Chinese automaker distributed a photo of a working prototype of a promising model - although the car is carefully pasted over with a camouflage film, its impressive size and massive shape are visible.
The image of the upcoming novelty in the Chinese media was approvingly compared with the Audi Q7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class. With the latest big Chery crossover, the interior is especially close. In particular, the front console in the interior of the Chinese car is an almost detailed reproduction of this element in the Mercedes-Benz GLS. Such a comparison for the Chery crossover, which will be offered at a cost several times cheaper than the GLS, is undoubtedly beneficial.
At the heart of the crossover is a front-wheel drive platform. The car will be equipped with a 4-cylinder engine with a working volume of 2.0 liters, equipped with two turbochargers with a maximum power of 254 hp. The novelty is expected to hit the market early next year.
