Chinese Chery Automobile has released official photos of a new full-size crossover called Tiggo 9 - this model will go on sale in the second quarter of 2023 and will become the flagship of Chery's famous all-terrain line.
With an overall length close to five meters, the crossover looks like a giant due to the high window sill line, the huge radiator grille and the relief on the wings that visually increase the wheel arches. The massive bottom of the body compensates for the lightweight top with a large windshield and a sloping roof.
The exterior features modern solutions such as the company logo acting as an optical marker, retractable exterior door handles and large wheels (20 inches in diameter). The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the technical characteristics of the crossover. According to unofficial data, the car will receive a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with direct injection and turbocharging with a capacity of about 250 hp.
