In preparation for the premiere of the second generation of the 4-Series family, BMW has published a teaser on its website, thanks to which you can see the front of one of its representatives.
Judging by the picture, the second generation of the model will largely repeat the BMW Concept 4, presented in September last year. Its main feature is the exaggeratedly large “nostrils” of the radiator grille, which caused a lot of controversy among aesthetes. From a technical point of view, the second-generation 4-Series will intermarry with the current 3-Series family (both models are based on the CLAR modular platform). Before the debut of the M4 modification, the most powerful version of the 4-Series will have the M440i index, it will receive a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine with 387 hp. It will work with an 8-speed "automatic" ZF 8 HP.
BMW is set to release several versions of the 4-Series: a two-door coupe, a two-door convertible, a five-door Gran Coupe liftback, and an electric i4. The i4 is expected to be even more powerful than the upcoming M4, with its two electric motors boasting around 523 hp.
