Toyota resumed production of spare parts for Corolla Levin AE86 from the 80s

Toyota

On November 1, Toyota Motor launched sales of new original spare parts for the Corolla Levin AE86 and Sprinter Trueno. These coupes and hatchbacks were produced from 1983 to 1987, parts for them are increasingly difficult to buy. Toyota has decided to support AE86 and Sprinter Trueno owners who want to keep their cars in good condition.

Now you can buy new steering knuckles and rear brake calipers for rare Toyotas. On December 1, the assortment will be replenished with a rear drive shaft.

All parts can be ordered directly from Toyota dealers in Japan.

Toyota Corolla Levin AE86 and Sprinter Trueno belonged to the Corolla E80 family, although they had their own chassis with rear-wheel drive (the usual Corolla had front-wheel drive). Sports cars of these models have long acquired a cult status due to the sports chassis and simplicity. The Corolla Levin AE86 and Sprinter Trueno were often used for professional motorsport and amateur racing.

Previously, Toyota, under the GR Heritage Parts project, began to produce scarce parts for the Land Cruiser J40 (1960-1984), Supra A70 (1986-1993) and A80 (1993-2002) and 2000GT (1967-1970).
