Toyota Motor on August 22 began selling the improved Corolla Axio sedan and Fielder station wagon in the Japanese domestic market.
The cars are equipped with projector-type LED headlights, a Nanoe X cabin air disinfection system, a tray next to the parking brake lever where you can put a smartphone, and upgraded seat upholstery.
Axio starts at 1,611,600 yen, Fielder starts at 1,758,400 yen.
For Corolla Fielder and Corolla Axio, 1.5-liter gasoline engines 1NZ-FE (103 hp) and 2NR-FKE (109 hp) are available. There is also a hybrid with a 1.5-liter ICE 1NZ-FXE (74 hp) operating on the Atkinson cycle. It is accompanied by a 61 hp electric motor. (45 kW).
