For Toyota Supra proposed carbon fiber struts

Toyota

Japanese auto parts manufacturer HKS has released a set of innovative carbon fiber body struts for the current-generation Toyota Supra/GR Supra rear-wheel drive sports car J29/DB. These parts are light in weight, while increasing the body's torsional rigidity - and thus improve the car's response to steering turns and increase stability.

The kit includes two front and one rear spacers, as well as fasteners. The carbon fiber is said to be Japanese, and the struts are made in conjunction with Saitama-based Graphite Design.

Compared to the standard aluminum front strut strut, which is only installed on the top-end Supra (with the 3.0 motor), the carbon fiber one is 150% stronger, while at the same time it dampens vibrations 70% more effectively.

The price of a new product from HKS in Japan is 231,000 yen
